In the event of a playout server failure, the remaining systems swiftly detect it and notify the operator through our user-friendly ChannelMaker GUI and emit a message to signal the anomaly. If the failing server happens to be the Master, the remaining servers will automatically elect a new Master and initiate a series of automation processes that can be leveraged to accomplish tasks such as: switching the video router to the new Master system, changing the DSK (Downstream Key) settings in the master vision mixer, and even forcing an XO switch if needed.
