1. If employed foundation or superstructure type is dissimilar from above table, Contractor must acquire the approval from TPC/Engineer in the stage of detail design. 2. If equipment foundation long term uniform load over 20t/m2 that the foundation type shall be TYPE B. 3. For flood and water intrusion protection, the flood gate (防水閘門) shall be provided at the location of basement entrance and electrical panel on the ground floor of the building . Height of flood gate shall not be less than 0.9 m. 4. All pipe/cable trenches entering from outdoor to building shall be enclosed with RC wall. All penetrating openings and joints of pipe/cable on curb wall of building including the aforesaid enclosed RC wall shall be watertight sealed. 5. The sump pumps with drain pits shall be provided at the end of the drain trench inside of the building to deliver the drain water to outside of the building when the drain trenches are closed by flood gate. 6. Fire Insulation material (防火材料) Requirement Fire Insulation material for column, beam and bracing of structural steel buildings shall be provided to prevent fire accident. The scope is shown on the Table 7-2. The fireproof rate should be at least one hour and conformed to BTR requirement for the buildings often by people working. At visible portion, the steel shall be wrapped by fire insulation board as per 10.3.22 of this Part with board thickness in accordance to BTR. At invisible hiding-out portion, the steel can be covered by fireproof paint as per 10.3.23 or spray-on fireproof material as per 10.3.21 of this Part with thickness in accordance to BTR. 7. Fire zone division (防火區劃) Requirement The fire zone division shall be designed in accordance to BTR requirement where the scope is shown on the Table 7-2 including the area of direct access Stairway & Elevator Shaft with machine room and the total floor area of Engineer Room , EER Room, CER Room, Office, Tea Room & Toilet…etc. are more than 1500m2 of all buildings shall be considered. The fire zone division drawings including the area of fire wall, fire floor, fire door and fire window…etc. shall be provided by Contractor for approval. Any opening on the fire wall and fire floor shall be fire sealed.
