There are two problems with this fake charge - ONE is that NOWHERE on the arrival notice did it state that the charge was refundable - the district attorney for New York is very interested in fradulent transactions like this - it is not a civil charge it a criminal one. the SECOND problem is that if the trucker picks up at the port the per diem charges are for his account - and the charges are usually $25 - $30 per day - to bill for 14 days per diem is one of the worst things i have seen in 25 years of shipping
PLEASE NEVER use this company again as they have demonstrated at least bad faith and probably commercial fraud, and wire fraud
