Please find attached the inspection report about the 2nd shipment.

Unfortunately, we didn't pass the check of the serial. The core holes of the threads are too wide.

The samples were between 8,4mm to 8,6mm. At present 0-serial it was going up to 8,86mm which is too much.

The function of the parts is still there, but FAS can't take the risk and so we don't get the release.

Maybe you can check some parts you have in stock and speak with the supplier.
A might be possible way could be:
a. I try to get an extra release for the already produced 25000 items each – when we can confirm a max. core hole of the 8,86mm. But then you have to be sure that there are no more items with a bigger one
b. You check with the supplier and we guarantee that the next 25000pcs will be in the accepted range of 8,4 to 8,6mm

Please let know your opinion before I get back to the customer.
