There are a lot of studies that look for relations between spending outdoors time and myopia. Jin et al. found the less figures of myopia, by means of pupil constriction and the release of dopamine, the greater the exposure to sunlight. However, we did not find a connection between the time spent outdoors and prevalence of myopia. This leads us to believe that in Spain, no association has been found due to the lack of children in our sample who spend more than 2.5 hours per day exposed to sunlight; therefore, it would be interesting to confirm these results through future research.
