Introduction
The purpose of this document is to guide Conexant’s customers as well as Conexant engineers on how to
use the Firmware Configuration Package (FCP) to build a tuned firmware image.
6. Setup of Work Environment
No extra tools are needed for doing audio tuning and building the final tuned image. However to be able to
build Host-side demo code on Windows PC, Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Express along with Service Pack 1
for Visual Studio 2010 is needed. These can be downloaded from:

7. Structure of FCP
The FCP contains the following sub-directories and files:
