5 13/32" long capped and 5 31/32" long posted, full-size, Mark I, Parker color: Burgundy, firm fine point nib reads: PARKER MADE IN U.S.A. RU PL 1..., short arrow clip, cap reads: PARKER MADE IN U.S.A. 1/10 12K GOLD FILLED, silver pearl cap jewel, original metal breather tube, Aerometric filling system.
Pen was completely disassembled, thoroughly hand cleaned and ultrasonically cleaned when needed, micro-meshed, buffed and polished, new pli-glass ink sac was coated with talcum powder and installed with nail varnish, new O-ring was installed with light silicone grease, a small dot of shellac was added to opposite sides of the section threading to secure the hood, nib and feed channels were scraped clean, and the nib tip was shaped and polished to ensure smooth writing.
See condition description and the picture that shows this pen's writing on printer paper. This fine point nib writes a smooth line. Pen will be flushed with water and shipped inside of a pvc tube for safety.
The Aerometric filling system operates by pushing the ribbed bar 4 to 6 times until you see ink fill the translucent sac.
