The incorporation of a pilot study

The incorporation of a pilot study is one the most popular tools for evaluating the reliability of any research tool.Therefore,the questionnaire was given to 30 LIS students and Cronbach’s alpha was calculated for each of the factors. Nunnally (1978, as cited in Kiran and Diljit, 2011) suggested that a Cronbach’s alpha value of 0.7 indicates a considerably high reliability. As can be seen in Table I, Cronbach’s alpha was satis factory for all factors.
