Ahmed Chawki is a young Moroccan singer born on May 31, 1982 in Tetouan. He has been composing and singing poems since childhood. At that time, he has also participated to various social events and has won several awards during his time at the National School of Theatre and Singing.
To perfect his musical culture, Ahmed then enrolled at the Institute of Fine Arts in Tetouan, where he specialized in classical and Western singing, while studying musical theories in the world. In 2000, he won the first prize at the Arab Music Festival, organized by "Maison du Littoral" in Tetouan.
He decided shortly after to form the band La Paloma with other young musicians. Ahmed participated in the following years to several national and international festivals, where he met a huge success with his band and enjoyed an extensive media coverage.
From then on, he became a regular guest on TV shows and radio channels, including 2M with the program Nasima and Chanel One. He also recorded many hit songs, including "Ya Lmima", "La Paloma", and also "Sinine" in collaboration with the famous Spanish band Librejano.
