If multiple ports have the same sensor type then all will be checked
for alarm conditions. There is no way to specify which port is used if multiple ports have the
same sensor type. To turn off alarms set Alarm Sensor Type to 0 (zero).
Alarm High Set Point
The value for the High Set Point in the correct engineering units and format* for its sensor type.
If the sensor value exceeds this set point the alarm output module will be activated. Once the
sensor value falls below this set point then the alarm will shut off. If no high set point is
required than set High Set Point to 4095. For example: a temperature set point of 75.3ºF
should be sent as “0753”.
* Do not send decimal points with values.
Alarm Low Set Point
The value for the Low Set Point in the correct engineering units and format* for its sensor type.
If the sensor value falls below this set point the alarm output module will be activated. Once
the sensor value exceeds this set point then the alarm will shut off. If no low set point is
required than set Low Set Point to 0. For example: a temperature set point of -2.0ºC should be
sent as “-020”.
* Do not send decimal points with values.
