XIII.3 – CHAINES D’ISOLATEURS :
Pour l’isolement des lignes 225 KV, on utilise les chaînes d’isolateurs en verre trempé ou composites (à base de silicone ou EPDM).
Les types des isolateurs les plus répandus sont :
- Sphérique, pour le niveau de pollution N° III
- Antipollution, pour le niveau de pollution N° IV et IV + (Lfs = 31 mm/KV et
Lfs = 33 mm/KV)
- Aérodynamique, pour le niveau de pollution N° IV et IV + (Lfs = 31 mm/KV et
Lfs = 33 mm/KV) en zones sahariennes.

Le nombre des isolateurs des chaînes 225 KV est calculé suivant la norme CEI 815.
