There was no interaction between the supplementation of cortisol and IGF-1 treatments in culture on the expression of the GHR, IGF1, IGF1R, IGFBP3, IGFBP5, BAX, or BCL2 genes by epithelial cells, nor was there an effect of IGF-1 treatment on the expression of the same genes (Table 4).
