Patent is defined as a right granted
for an invention in any field of technology,
which is new, which involves
an inventive step and which is susceptible
of industrial application.
The patent grant procedure is started
by the filing of an application with
the Serbian Intellectual Property
Office. Patent application must contain
a request for the grant of a patent,
a description of the invention,
one or more claims for the protection
of an invention by a patent (patent
claims), a drawing (when it is
appropriate) and an abstract.
