The collected data was analyzed using the IBM SPSS statistical package (ver. 21; sSPSS Inc.,Chicago, IL, USA). Frequencies, percentages, means and standard deviations are presented for eachof the general characteristics for each group of subjects. In the descriptive analysis of the indicators,the mean and standard deviations are shown for the continuous variables and the frequencies andpercentages are shown for the categorical variables. To test the effect of the intervention program foreach of the groups, we conducted t-tests for continual variables and McNemar tests for categoricalvariables. The level of statistical significance was defined as a p-value < 0.05.
