I been using my zenfone 2 4gb model

I been using my zenfone 2 4gb model. I edit lots of photos through the
gallery app and recently I keep getting the error of out of memory. Please
close other apps to free up memory. This just started within the last week
or so. Maybe since the update on Oct 15. I can do a fresh reboot and have
over 2 gbs of ram free and the error still pops up. Is there a fix or
should I wait for an update? I tried clearing caches and freeing up ram
with boost closing apps manually. Same error and it won't allow me to edit
photos. Thank you.
