Knowing是很值得一看的惊悚悬疑类型的电影。比起其他的灾难片，这部影片给人更多的是对于灾难一点办法都没有的一种压抑和深深的无力感。影片围绕着主角约翰一家人和一个小女孩还有一串神秘的代码展开叙事。这串代码是很神奇的一串代码，这些编码信息竟然毫厘不差地预言了过去50年里每个重大灾难所发生的日期、死亡人数和其它匹配数字。更神奇的是故事的另一个主角——Abby Wayland，就是我们前面说的那个小女孩，她似乎能听到一些别人听不到的像是某些外星物种在说悄悄话的声音，并且同时会把那串像是无限不循环小数的编码写满整张纸。影片中关于人物心理的戏很多，给读者一种自己就是主角的感觉，很容易代入自己，从而让观者更加深入体会到那种神秘感和对未知的大自然毫无办法的无奈。影片从一开始的平静慢慢过渡到了后来世界毁灭的那种紧张和恐惧，那种不知道灾难是不是就在和平过后的下一秒就会突然发生的恐惧非常触动人心。影片的最后是约翰的儿子和那个与神秘代码密切相关的女孩一起和似乎是来自外星的生物一起上了飞船，离开了这个已经濒临死亡的星球，留下主角待在原地，也给观看者留下悬念。
