Farewell to Cambridge Xu Zhimo very quietly I take my leave, as quietly as I came here; I gently waved, the rosy clouds. The golden willows by the riverside, is the bride in the setting sun, their reflections on the shimmering waves, rippling in my heart. The floatingheart growing in the sludge, sways leisurely under the water; in the gentle waves of Cam River, I am willing to do a water! A tan, then under the shade of elm trees, the sky rainbow; crumple in the floating algae, precipitating rainbow dreams. To seek a dream? Poling a long pole, to the grass is greener, a ship loaded with star, sing aloud in the splendour of starlight. But I cannot sing, quietness is my farewell music; Even summer insects keep silence for me,Silent is Cambridge tonight! Very quietly I take my leave, as quietly as I came here; I wave of the sleeves, do not take a cloud.
