Accompanied by the progress of information and communication technologies,the Internet and e-commerce, which are in increasing use in almost all businesssectors, paved the way for a new virtual organization model based on computerdata. This development compels numerous classical business sectors to dobusiness in internet medium. With this study, it is intended that this new-foundbut fast growing virtual business of “Online Food Delivery” companies ofTurkey will be examined and sector’s growth potentialities dissected. In the firstchapter of the study, virtual organizations and electronic commerce have beendefined. In the second chapter, the operation system of virtual food deliveryorganizations put forward and existing virtual firms of online food delivery ofTurkey listed.
