All of the prepared dispersions are used for dyeing polyester fabrics. For this purpose, the fabrics (2g) were treated with 5g/L anionic detergent at 60C for 30 minutes in a liquor ratio (L:R) of 40:1 rinsed and dried. Then, dyeing was carried out in an IR (infrared color sample dyeing machine) apparatus. The fabric samples were dyed in a dyebath consisting of the prepared dispersions and acetic acid (pH 4-5) with an L.R 50:1 according to the dyeing profile depicted in Figure 2. After completion of the dyeing cycle, the dyed fabric was washed off with water thoroughly and dried at room temperature. Then reduction clearing process was carried out in an aqueous solution containing 3g/L of sodium dithionite, 2g/L of sodium hydroxide and 1g/L nonionic detergent (Lotensol, Hansa Co., Germany) with an L.R 50:1 for 20 minutes at 80C. The treated samples were then rinsed with hot and cold water.
