I was really disappointed when the 3rd season came out. The costumes and scenery was even more beautiful, the only exception was the cast. I love the chemistry between the 2 couples especially Alec and Vicki. To this day I cringe when my mom watch the 3rd season. Can not find myself sitting down and watching it.

I agree there, I don’t think they should’ve changed the cast cos it’s so hard to accept and also unfair on the actors. I think they should’ve just made it a new series or something:O

SAME HERE! It would be the greatest thing ever to see the two of them play lovers in an ancient series. If they don’t make more shows, they’d soon have to play people’s mothers! It’s so sad that some actors I saw in the 2000s all young and radiant are now playing mothers>
