Abstract：
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic having low stickiness, excellent in use feeling and sufficiently increasing moisture retaining property in dry term to impart smooth moisture feeling to the skin.
SOLUTION: The cosmetic contains galactooligosaccharide composed of 4-10 monosaccharide units and having at least one fructose residue. As the galactooligosaccharide, concretely, stachyose, verbascose, ajugose and the like, or plant extracts of Lamiaceae plants and the like are listed.
