Before you use the item, you may need to put the CD into your computer's CD-ROM and install the software into your computer.

When you put the CD into your computer's CD-ROM, there will pop out a box, and you can click "windows" to install the software.

If the software is installed successfully, you can see a shortcut which called Realtek USB Wireless LAN Utility on your computer.

Then you can connect the usb stick into your computer and open the shortcut of the software, then you'll get the wifi signal.

Please be aware that this item is usb 2.0. So if your computer is not usb 2.0, there will be no wifi signal.
