There were differences between the attitudinal clusters on having a BEV as a main car. A large majority in Clusters 1 and 3
(high involvement with cars and driving) would not consider a BEV with a range of 50 miles as a main car, but the majority
was proportionally less in Cluster 4, while Cluster 2 was split bi-modally, with almost as many willing to consider a BEV as
not. If the range was 100 miles, Cluster 3 remained unwilling to consider a BEV as a main car, while Cluster 1 was now split,
and a majority of participants in Clusters 2 and 4 would considering having a BEV
