It does not say that it downloaded updates on that day. However, the view
of my home screen returned to the Asus default view that the phone came
with, and 27 different adjustments I had made to the display were lost.
The phone also turned on the Do Not Disturb feature, which I never use.
The Auto Start manager reset itself to default, denying 5 apps that I need
to run, and allowing over a dozen that I had previously set to deny.
It looks like a factory reset, except that my home and lock screen
wallpapers remained the way I had set them.
It took me over an hour to find and reset all of the adjustments back to
what I wanted.
At the time this happened, I was at a friend's house where my phone is able
to sign on to the friend's Wi-Fi network. I noticed the phone was
downloading something -- an update presumably, but it did not indicate any
details.
I have a Wi-Fi network at home, and the phone has never done this at my
home. It does not usually even download updates at home.
