To validate the Lagrangian particle

To validate the Lagrangian particle track model, the experimentaldata of Chen et al. [33] was used to test its efficiency. Fig. 10shows a schematic diagram of the experimental chamber. The supplyair velocity was 0.225 m/s and particle diameter and densitywere 10 lm and 1400 kg/m3, respectively. Fig. 11 compares thenormalised particle concentration and experimental data at threedifferent locations on the centre plane. Reasonable agreementbetween the simulation and experiment is observed.
