We were reported by one of Thilawa locators about robbers near Thilawa SEZ.

According to the report, three robbers threatened two employees working in Thilalwa SEZ last Friday evening around 17:30.

It happened just a few kilometres from SEZ area, and the robbers had knife with them.

Fortunately no one was injured, but the robbers took their motorbike away.


We are requesting Thanlyin / Kyauktan police to tighten security around Thilawa area through Thilawa SEZ Management Committee.

We would like to call for your attention in order to prevent such cases.
