In demonstrating Qwick to a custome

In demonstrating Qwick to a customer last week, I found that the absorption of poured saline on the face, or the uptake from the edge was not quick at all.  It sat there for a minute or two before absorption kicked in.
 
I am wondering if there is age related instability here, can you check your retains and comment asap.  It needs to be quick to be true to its name.
