Hong Kong's television broadcasting began in 1957, and on May 29, 1957, with the establishment of commercial limited radio stations in Hong Kong and the launch of the television service "Li's Voice", Li's voice television (later renamed Asian Tv, or ATV) officially opened the first page of Hong Kong's television broadcasting history. On November 19, 1967, Yifu founded Television Broadcasts Co., Ltd. (Wireless Television, or TVB). Subsequently, Jiayi TELEVISION (Jiayi) joined on September 7, 1975, opening up the "three sets" of the free-to-air television market. But Jiayi TV went out of business on August 22, 1978, less than three years later, starting a 40-year "watching war" between ATV and TVB.<br><br>In 2014, Rthk TV officially launched, with the end of the local free-to-air broadcasting of Asian Tv in April 2016, with its simulation and digital channels being taken over by RTTV and Hong Kong TELEVISION Entertainment respectively. Hong Kong Television Entertainment (HKTVE) opened in April 2016, while Fantastic TV was launched in May 2017. With wireless television, Hong Kong and Taiwan TV, Hong Kong TV entertainment and fantastic television, Hong Kong TV broadcasting will enter the era of four free-to-air television stations. Hong Kong's television broadcasting industry has long entered into a four-station separation situation after a long-standing dispute between the two stations.
