7. Measurement of Radiated EmissionThe radiated emissions shall be measured in accordance with the test method in the Section 7.1, theSection 7.2 and the Section 7.3. This test method shall be carried out in accordance with itemsdescribed in the Section 4 and the Section 5. With regard to the Section 7.1 and 7.2, the specimenshall be fixed at the direction and the position where the worst value is detected.Since Sections 7.1 and 7.2 are designed for measurement of radiated emission of the specimen'shousing, the influence of radiated emission from the harness shall be eliminated whenever possible. As for the specimen whose direction and the position cannot be determined, measure three sides(Section 7.1) and 6 sides (Section 7.2) respectively as shown in Fig. 16. However, as for thedirection and the position of the specimen which cannot be measured, the test can be partly omitted inaccordance with the discussion among departments involved. If it is difficult to set up the test configurations specified in Sections 7.1, 7.2 and 7.3, test may be partlychanged in accordance with the discussion among departments involved. In such a case, discussions and decisions shall be stated in the test plan sheet and the test report.
