The proposed algorithm has been implemented in MATLAB 7.0. The optimal power flow problem is solved using different methods (GA, PSO, IPSO). Generation, fuel cost, loss and CPU
time obtained from GA, PSO and IPSO are given in Table II.
Cost convergence curve obtained from GA, PSO and IPSO is shown in Figure 2.
