In general, austenitic stainless steel is said to transform to martensitic when strain is applied [14]. Thus, our conjecture was that all the green-colored-area consists of α' phase. And the area shown in gray is the area where the confidence index (CI) value is smaller than 0.2 in analysis, and indicates the area where the analysis reliability is low. Therefore, the phase state of the gray area is not clear. By comparing the results of phase map of 304 and 316L, it is possible to confirm the strain induced martensitic phase in the shear cut surface area in SUS304. On the other hand, 316L cannot confirm that. This result is also consistent with the result of investigationof the relationship between tensile test and strain induced martensitic transformation [7-9].
