Audiolab 8000-DAC
The Dac works but with a fault, as such i am selling for just £135
When it’s on there is a hiss from the output I have triad all inputs but it doesn’t seem to make any difference you still get a hiss or white noise type sound on the output sometimes you can hear a whining type sound like you would get if you were tuning an analogue radio, I am sure it can be fixed but I just don’t have the time or the knowhow.
The hiss doesn’t vary or increase with the volume, so if you put the volume up you can’t hear it.
Apart from the above it’s still a usable Dac and sounds very good.
As for the above selling for parts or repair so please no returns as not fully working as it should.
