I would like to thank my supervisor Alain Joseph for his continuous support, enthusiasm, and guidance throughout the course of this research. Thank you for making the weekly trips between Dalhousie and NSCC to ensure that I was staying on the right track. You and your team in the NSCC Energy Lab allowed me to come to understand every aspect of this research, even the ones that seemed so foreign in the beginning.
