Ninjas in Pyjamas CEO Per Lilliefelth has ruled out the possibility of the team undergoing roster changes until the end of the year.
Earlier on Wednesday, a report from fragbite.se suggested that Ninjas in Pyjamas would part ways with Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund, Aleksi "allu" Jalli and Adam "friberg" Friberg, with the remaining players linking up with the Nordic trio from G2, who have sold Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom to Titan.
Shortly after the story went up, G2 CEO Carlos "ocelote" Rodríguez Santiago stated on Twitter that Mikail "Maikelele" Bill, Håvard "rain" Nygaard and Dennis "dennis" Edman were going nowhere and stressed that the players were happy in the organisation.
NiP have no roster changes planned, says the organisation's CEO
NiP have now reacted to the story through their CEO Per Lilliefelth, who has restated that the lineup will remain unaltered until the end of the year, when the players' contracts expire.
"There are no roster changes planned at the moment," Lilliefelth said. "Our current players will continue under the NiP banner for the remainder of this year.
"Their first upcoming tournament is Gfinity in Birmingham and they will also compete in Cluj-Napoca, the next Major.
"We've all seen an improvement in performance as of late and we're excited to see our boys continuing their streak of good results."
This weekend, NiP will be in action at the Gfinity Champion of Champions, a quadrangular $100,000 tournament also featuring fnatic, Virtus.pro and EnVyUs.
