Study eligibility criteriaArticles that meet the following criteria will be included.Inclusion of participantsHospitalized adult patients (>18 years) who have a deviceto continuously assist or control respiration througha tracheostomy will be included. We will exclude studieswith patients that had not undergone mechanical ventilationfor more than 48 h prior to enrolment.
