Measurement of dimensions: Three lineardimensions namely polar diameter (D1), majordiameter (D2) and minor diameter (D3) for alltomatoes were measured using a Vernier Caliper(least count 0.01mm). Polar diameter is defined asthe distance between tomato apex and the stemend. Major and minor diameters of the tomatoesare defined as maximum and minimum widthrespectively in a plane perpendicular to a polaraxis (Mohsenin, 1986).
