Being committed includes making your reporting manager look good in public. By working to increase your reporting manager’s credibility, you enhance your own position as well as show loyalty. As long as you share the values of your reporting manager and the organization, loyalty is easy. However, if your reporting manager appears to be doing something that makes you uncomfortable, you should try to find an opportunity to discuss with him/ her in private. It will help you to assess whether the difficulty was arose because you did not understand the situation fully or for some other reason.
