6. Measurement of Conducted EmissionThe measurement of conducted emissions shall be carried out in accordance with the test methods inthe Section 6.1 and the Section 6.2. This test method shall be practiced in accordance with itemsdescribed in the Section 4 and the Section 5. Basically, the conducted emission of each and everyterminal shall be measured. However, for the measurement of subject noise sources A group and Bgroup specified in Section 4.1, the measuring terminal may be selected in accordance with thediscussion among departments involved. If a terminal that cannot be measured exists or if it is difficult to set up the test configuration, test maybe partly changed in accordance with the discussion among departments involved. In such a case, items discussed and decided shall be stated in the test plan sheet and the test report.6.1 Current Probe MethodIn this test method, the current probes in the Section 3.2 shall be used and two types of probes, onefor 30 MHz or less and another for 30 MHz and more, shall be used properly in accordance with themeasurement frequency.(1) Setting conditions for specimenThe measurement shall be carried out in the configuration of Table 14 and Fig. 10 in accordancewith the setting conditions in the Section 5.3. In the case where the setting conditions in theSection 5.3.2 cannot be configured for any compelling reason, the measurement shall be carriedout in accordance with Fig. 11 and in the configuration which employs the artificial power supplycircuit network and the harness of its lengths mm. As for Fig. 10 and Fig. 11, use theground plane to provide the grounding treatment which is equivalent to the vehicle mountedcondition.(2) Measuring position of current probeThe measuring position of the current probe shall be basically distanced 50 mm from thespecimen. However, when measuring the 30 MHz and more, the measuring points of probeshall be 50 mm and 750 mm in the distance from the specimen.(3) Measurement in the case of special wireIn the case where the harness to be connected is the twisted pair wire or shielded wire, themeasurement shall be carried out with it being paired or bundled in accordance with Fig. 12.
