Not the information in the red frame is interesting, but your comment “in slave everything is OK” in combination with the displayed line “device 2 is …”.
The “2” is wrong!
Open that page again, push the field down button to get the cursor to this line “slave”, push the field left button to get it blinking on the “2” and turn the grey jog knob to the left: Finally in the line must stand “device 1 is slave” or in the end “device 1 is master”.
I tried that some minutes ago on our demo machine and got exactly the same problem.

Usually I should say “SmartFocus hardware is nearly the same like HiFocus”.
But it seems to be not the same story in software: The PGC-300 firmware is programmed by another person than any HiFocus PGC.
“Er10” for SmartFocus includes also communication faults in the RS485 bus, between PGC and power source.
The explanation of “Er10” in the published error list (see instruction manual) is incomplete.
