All the time I spent trying to get

All the time I spent trying to get applied for this position at MagiCont, and it finally paid off. I didn't expect much, but fortunately I was chosen as the best candidate for one of their earliest experiments. This experiment, they said, would allow me to break myself up into multiple pieces, something that would fulfil my dreams from childhood.


When I was a child I enjoyed magic and magicians, and my favourite tricks were when the assistants were divided into multiple pieces. It amazed me to see these people somehow get chopped into half, thirds, or however so many pieces the magician wanted, and still be in full control of their body and without harm, even being able to join back together. I wished to be one of those assistants, but to a real magician, not one of the ones that did illusions. I knew that they didn't exist, so this was the next best thing.

Although I was in full acceptance of me being a test subject, my parents weren't. They were very worried for my life, but I repeatedly assured them that it would be alright. I told them many times that they had the design completed, but were just putting in small adjustments to check differences between people. I was half right. They told me that they did have the design completed, but they were going to make me the first completely successful experiment test subject. I personally didn't mind though, because they said that the last experiments were failures only due to external problems.

There was only one thing I had a slight problem with, but it was rectified easily at the time of the tests. They told me that I will lose my ovaries due to the hormonal difficulties. They also told me that my ovaries would be going into a freezing chamber, in case I want to have a surrogate mother, and that in case I ever wanted to have relations with someone, I could receive a small injection in my head to activate it. That both created a problem and solved it at once, and it also made me understand why there weren't any male test subjects, a small thing that I had noticed going in to the tests.


This day didn't really have much in it, except for being led to a large grey room with a large flat screen television with a games console and a computer attached, some gray couches, a plain but large rectangular table, and a king size bed with padded sheets. They also told me that I would be seeing the previous test subject tomorrow, one that has managed to live through their complication, to talk about what is involved in the experiment.

At that time it was very late, so I only saw one TV show while lying in bed, then turned it off and went to sleep. After a couple of hours, I remembered to write a recount of the day, so I scribbled down this and decided to head back to bed.
