Hello, adventurers,
This week again, we picked some hot topics among the community, trying to answer your questions with this Adventure’s feedback

Ok, let’s take a look.

Q1. I want to talk about the cost for my Warden Tree. It’s too expensive to upgrade the Tree. I suggest using the normal resources to upgrade the Tree, just like when you complete a building. Firewood, ingots or stone bricks would do.
- From the ToL Steam community
A1. We are observing the game and adjusting the upgrade cost. It is a good idea to use the resources, but we are going to add various contents/features, so that you can earn more coins. What we want is that you gain sufficient income while you enjoy.
You can earn the coins while hunting the new fierce monsters and the improved Merman invasion. Also, you can sell your crafts and get the coins. We will make the “coin farming” fun.

Q2. I see some old bugs are still existing: crude Torches are not stacking; the damage of a higher-grade arrow seems the same as a normal one; a building does not face the right direction when installing/replacing. The third issue especially bugs me, because it ruins my neat town. Please fix those bugs!
- From a fansite
A2. In this update, we will not have only the new combat system, but we also see the balance patch and the bug fix: the grade of Crude for a Torch and a Lantern has been removed, thus they are stackable, after the update; the arrows issue will be fixed; the building glitch also will be fixed. Apart from the issues mentioned here, the update will bring more changes. You will see them in the PTR soon.

Q3. When the PTR was open again, I was excited. But I found that there was no difference between the test server and the live one, and back to the live server. I think the people felt the same and came back to the live server. I remember that you would adjust the values/numbers and the game features for a better balance. Did you or are you going to update the PTR?
- From the official forum
A3. The test build in the PTR is identical to the live version. So far we have not made use of the test server, but the PRT will really be used for a test as the name refers: after this update, we are going to run a feature test and adjust the values for a good balance.
The new combat system will be uploaded on the PTR first. After the test, it will be on the live server. Please stay connected for the schedule.

Q4. Recently I feel Alice and Bear do not really care the community. I know they are busy, but please take care of the forum and the communities. And I am happy to help you guys: it’s a pity some posts in Spanish or non-English with no comments/answers. Is there anything that I can help you? Why don’t you hire the players and let them help with community management? I see in many online games the developers hire their users as supportive GMs to care the communities. I think it’s a nice idea.
- From the ToL Steam community
A4. First of all, I must say I am terribly sorry. The service team (Alice and me) is not directly participating in the development, but supporting the developers with a game test and other tasks (busy busy). Alice and I will rearrange the tasks/schedule and make time for you all.
And thank you for your kindness. Yesterday I have got emails from some ToL lovers, offering their help. We really appreciate it. Your feedback/suggestion/reports are greatly helpful for the game development. Like you mentioned, we are considering to hire our users or the professional part-time GMs to support and manage the community.

Q5. The pic of the day: Alice’s choice
Lots of nice screenshots are on the Steam community! Let’s take a look. +_+
