All data were subject to a preliminary screening for accuracy and descriptive statistical analysis. Pearson-product moment correlation analysis was conducted to examine relationships among interests and learning outcomes. MANOVAwas used to examine the differences between boys and girls in personal and situational interests, Step, and Grade. In the analysis, the aggregated average scores ofsituational interest and steps from the three lessons were used.
