Items comprising the Negativity scale are shown in the following summary table. A higher raw score on this scale indicates a greater degree of negativity, with less than 3% of respondents scoring 5 or above in the clinical sample. As with the Inconsistency scale, T scores are not generated for this scale. The Negativity score of 0 is within the acceptable range, suggesting that the respondent’s view of Sample is not overly negative and that the BRIEF2 protocol is likely to be valid.
