Another passage, Act 2, Scene 1, lines 190 to 320, makes use of several themes as well. It implements an idea that recurs throughout the play, which is the blending of reality and dreams. It also reveals the truthful, sinister intentions of Antonio and his minion Sebastion, and therefore applies another recurring theme, rebellion. In addition, it provides backstory so that the audience can recognize why Sebastian and Antonio have these motives. This element adds another layer to the play.
