The data for our study were provided by eBags.com, an
online retailer of handbags, luggage, and accessories.
Launched in 1999, eBags.com carries more than 200
brands comprising more than 8000 product items and has
a market share of over 30% in this segment of Internet
commerce.Wedraw from Laseter et al. (2005) to depict the
