These nonsense words were presented as names of different unusuallooking creatures/toys. Participants imitated these words while calling the associated creatures (e.g. ‘‘Diba! Diba, where are you?’’). On the sequential speech tasks, 3-point rating scales were utilised for motor control and sequencing (i.e. a score of 0 indicated poor performance, 1 indicated partially imprecise movements and a score of 2 indicated good motor control or sequencing).
