In addition, the effect of auxiliaries is investigated on the dye residue weight on the filter papers. Table 3 shows when Irgasol DAM and Asutol 644 accompanied with other auxiliaries such as wetting agents and b-cyclodextrin are used the dye residue weight on the filter paper is lower. For this reason, dispersions containing dispersing and wetting agents alongside b-cyclodextrin are more stable than the other dispersions. b-cyclodextrin can be applied as leveling agents having affinity to dyes because of their characteristics. It is confirmed that b-cyclodextrin can be utilized for dyeing of polyamide, cotton, and polyester fibers.
