Challenge 3: Interactive Bottles
Package/Product Design
Purpose is to build an interaction between consumer and packaging (focusing on bottle). Very likely it would require an intermediary tool such as smart phone, Wifi network, other communication.
The main idea is to leverage the latest technology into meaningful consumer proposal. We observe that technology such as NFC, RFID, … are now getting integrated into packaging mostly for functional reasons (ant counterfeiting, stock management, traceability…) but it can certainly be leverage to increase consumer experience and interaction between consumer and the product. That is what we are looking for.
Another thing is illuminated packaging (especially in the spirit industry). This can be leveraged as part of this challenge
There will be 2 key constraints: cost (likely through max price per unit) and ability to bring it into our supply chain.
Goal is to ensure we can scale it and not limit this to a PR kind of stunt
