In this chapter we have tried to give you practical guidelines for good writing about empirical matters, for the judicious, effective, and informative use of tables and figures, and for making oral presentations of empirical material, including the use of presentation software. As you hear and read about and, perhaps, do empirical work and present it to different audiences, you will develop your own principles for better ways to communicate about such work. We hope that this chapter will accelerate your learning of those better ways.
