变电站是汇集电源、升降电压和分配电力的场所，是发电厂和用户联系的中间环节。变电站按照其升降电压的不同分为升压变电站和降压变电站两大类。升压变电站是为了减少电能在运输过程中的损耗，将发电厂发出的电升压后输送到远方，降压变电站将高压电通过变压器转变为适合的低压电。
本文主要进行110KV变电站设计。通过对所建变电站及出线的考虑和对负荷的分析，在满足安全性、可靠性的要求确定了110KV、35KV、10KV侧主接线的形式，然后又通过简化的等值网络进行了短路计算，根据短路电流计算结果及最大持续工作电流，选择并校验电气设备。最后进行了电气主接线图的绘制。

This paper mainly carries on the design of 110KV substation. The 110KV, 35KV, 10KV side main wiring forms are determined by the consideration of the substation and the outlet and the analysis of the load,And then the short-circuit calculation is carried out by the simplified equivalent network. According to the calculation results of short-circuit current and the maximum continuous working current, the electric equipment is selected and checked. Finally, the electrical main wiring diagram is drawn.
